Generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) has rapidly evolved, establishing itself as a forefront technology. This development has led to the creation of user-centric tools, including Midjourney models that connect pre-trained systems like GPT-3 with fully customized solutions, enabling precise task-specific tuning.

ChatGPT exemplifies this trend, offering interactive, dynamic conversational experiences that enhance personalized communication. As Bergur Thormundsson points out, we can expect a significant increase in the annual users of ChatGPT worldwide in the coming months. In 2022, around 57 million people used ChatGPT, and by January 2023, this number had grown to roughly 100 million.

Human-centered AI (HCAI) represents a significant advancement in this field, learning through human input and collaboration. According to McKinsey, "The power of putting people first", HCAI focuses on creating AI systems that are intuitive, transparent, and aligned with human values. Bryan Hancock notes, "There's huge potential here for untapped market opportunities."

Unlike traditional AI, which often prioritizes efficiency and computational power, HCAI addresses ethical challenges and societal impacts, such as bias, privacy concerns, and accountability. By integrating human-centric principles, HCAI aims to enhance user trust and adoption, ultimately leading to more inclusive and equitable technological advancements.

A report by Research Nester states that “The Human-Centered AI Market Size was valued at USD 8.2 billion in 2023 and is expected to reach USD 39.5 billion by 2031, growing at a CAGR of 21.6% over the forecast period 2024–2031.

Andrés Dancausa, General Partner at TheVentureCity, underscores that AI should be viewed as a tool for achieving broader objectives rather than as an isolated solution. Adopting this strategic perspective allows for more effective integration of AI into organizational processes and goals.
